EXTENDED WARRANTY
Extended Warranty is never a bargain. Any modern appliance built today (or automobiles) will last long enough for you to get your money’s worth. Most appliances (or autos) will break down during it’s warranty period; this is called “infant mortality”, and will be covered by manufacturer warranty. Further, and increasingly, the unit will fail more and more at the end of its life span. So let E-Warranty takes care of it.

What is Extended Warranty Program (EWP)?
RP plans are available for 1+1 year and 2 + 1 year
What is Replacement Programme (RP)?
RP is One to One replacement when the products breaks down on the 2nd year or 3rd year upon the expiry of manufacturer warranty
Where do you have the ASC?
We have more than 250 ASC throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak.
How soon can the Authorized Service Center (ASC) call the customer?
Normally within 24-48 hours from the receipt of official complaint.
How do I make a claim?
You may refer to your reseller / dealer whom you purchased your product from.
What if the customer lost his/her CI, can he/she still claim for the repair when there is a breakdown?
Yes, he/she may as long as the details of the customer including the products are accurate.
Is the EWP applicable to all brands?
It is only applicable to most branded provided in the list.
Can I still extend the warranty after the expiry of EWP?
No, you may not.
What are the important details required for EWP?
Name, I/C no. address, postcode, Mobile no, product brand, model, serial no. Date of Purchase & warranty plan.
Will the customer get any Confirmation of submission?
Yes, a copy of Confirmation of submission can be printed from our online registration system by our authorized resellers.An e certificate will be send via email to customer
What are the EWP plans?
Manufacturer warranty + EWP: 1 + 1, 1+2, 1+ 3, 1+4, 2+1, 2+3 & 3+2.
When the model of product is obsolete, how do you make replacement?
The replacement of product is based on Brand, size & like for like basis.
What product will be included for transportation coverage?
Not applicable for cash & carry products. It must be above 32” TV, washing machine / dryer, refrigerators / freezer, air-conditioning, hood and hob or equivalent.
Does repair cost reduce the amount of Sum Insured when replacement is done?
Yes, the replacement cost will be the balancing amount from the Sum Insured of the product.
Where can I read Terms and Conditions of EWP?
A copy of Terms and Conditions can be obtained from our authorized resellers.
Is the EWP transferable?
Yes, it is transferable but customer must write in to inform us the new owner details.
Does EWP cover lightning, flood, fire, theft & accidental damage?
No, it does not cover natural disaster, accidental damage & theft. This is covered under All Risk insurance.
How many dead pixels are considered qualify the claim for panel?
The minimum dead pixels must not be below 8 dots.
Does EWP cover LED / LCD / Plasma panel?
Yes, it covers LED / LCD / Plasma panel.
What does EWP cover?
It covers the similar warranty to manufacturer’s warranty (mirror coverage)- Refer Terms and Conditions.
When must I purchase the EWP?
I must purchase the EWP at the time I purchase the Electrical product.

How long may I extend the warranty?
You may extend the warranty total not more than 60 months including the manufacturer warranty period from the date of purchase.
What is Extended Warranty Program (EWP)?
EWP is the warranty extended from the expiry of the manufacturer warranty period.
